CRCT tests in Reading, English/Language Arts and Mathematics are administered annually to elementary students in 1st through 5th grade. Due to budgetary constraints, the CRCT in 1st and 2nd grade were not administered in the 2013-2014 school year.
In each subject and in each grade, the state established a grade level threshold that determines whether a student met the state’s standard. This table averages the percentage of students that performed at or above grade level in each subject area. (Math Shown Here)

Georgia law says no 3rd grade student will be promoted to the 4th grade if the student does not achieve grade level performance on the third grade CRCT in Reading and no 5th grade student will be promoted to the 6th grade if the student does not achieve grade level performance on the CRCT in Reading and Mathematics.
Use the drop-down menu to choose a specific district, or the state as a whole. Then select the school, or you can choose all schools in a district. In the same way, select a grade or all grades.
Thank you, Stan, for another excellent job. I am proud to know that you are out here working for the students and teachers. You are a rare jewl of a human being!!!!! This is interesting information; one thing I notice is that over the progress of some twenty years that I have followed the test results in DeKalb, there is little to no change in the scores from the same schools. Some schools are working for students; others are not. Where’s the blame? It is on the school system for letting our teachers down and wallowing in their own manure. But, thank you, Stan, for the information. I pray that over the years you are able to serve the school system there will be change for the better. I pray that you are the Board Chair, instead of the numb nuts there now and of course in the “Past.”
Stan, what does #17 mean “DeKalb”? Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words Concerned Citizen. Any changes from year to year are questionable since the tests are different and the state arbitrarily sets the bar for a grade level score.
There was a “DeKalb” category … that was the stats for the entire county. I took it out to avoid confusion.
Nice work, Stan.
Fact checker, 1st and 2nd grades do not take the CRCT since budge cuts several years ago!
